Over-Entitlement About Coffee Cups

27th March 2015 By stephanie

This guy needs to stop being a whiny little bitch. No, scratch that – not just this guy. EVERYONE needs to get a grip and realize that this isn’t important. Arabic names in particular have many different ways to spell them.
I wouldn’t expect a barista to be able to hear me: they have whooshing and grinding machines all around them, and have to do a ton of orders very quickly. They are underpaid and underappreciated.

Bitching about a mispelling on a disposable coffee cup is this generation’s vastly over-inflated sense of entitlement. Now, when you want to buy an expensive gift for someone that requires their name to be displayed on it, or even just a birthday cake, getting the spelling right the first time is more important. In such cases, I would think if an error was made, you could request them to do it again for free, especially if you made the original order accompanied by a written note with the name.

But a coffee for less than $5, and you are bitching about it? PLEASE, get a fucking grip.
